Playing in garden -neighbors have sent us a legal notice

We have a small ground in the village which was donated to the municipality in 1956 as a playground and since our grandparents times we have playing there. Now one of the neighbors have sent us a legal notice restricting us from playing there claiming it is a garden and not a play ground. We now see suspicion when he has manipulated records and updated the ground as garden in 2017 through his influence. We do have the 7/12 papers where it reflects as play ground.
