Claiming due remuneration
So I was working for this start-up on a probationary period for three months. As it was coming to an end, I decided to not continue as a full time employee and submitted my Resignation.Employers were taken aback but one of them got in a call with me and we agreed that I would serve the notice period.Cut to today, our of the blue I'm removed from the groups, and shared files relating to the company and I revive a letter that says I'm no longer an employee due to my reduced performance and I'm not liable for compensation. Out of three months I've served, I've only been paid twice and I've not received payment for the final month. I don't care about compensation but I should receive the payment for the final month I've worked with company . What can be done about this?
As per the facts which have been provided, you can send a legal notice to the company asking them to pay the remuneration for the third month.
Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.
Thank you.
What they have done is wrong and they should have paid all the remuneration that you deserve. You should send them a legal notice through a lawyer asking the due to be paid and they should oblige.
A.Dear Sir,
You may approach office of Labor Commissioner or get issue a legal notice. But, they will be some risk for you.
