Issues in Parent's Marriage impacting Adult Children mentally
2 years ago
I'm a 28-year-old Girl. We're 3 siblings (unmarried) and all are working at good companies at good positions. My parents have a bad and abusive relationship with each other. They don't want to take divorce and not even stop their behaviour which is impacting me and my siblings who are younger than me. We all 3 siblings are going through very tough mental time and not able to focus on our career because of daily fights of our parents. My mom doesn't want to understand our condition and emotionally blackmail us. We're trying our best to provide support to them financially and take care of their needs. But They're still same for years. Now we're feeding up and not able to understand what to do. Can we take legal help here or send them some legal notice to let us live peacefully so we can focus on our career and growth? They've become toxic for us now and we are disturbed mentally/physically too much. They don't respect each other and trying to divide us between them. Please help us what can we do in this situation. We don't want to abandon our parents but now they're not leaving any choice for us.
As per the facts which have been provided, I would suggest you may move to the high court under article 226 or supreme court under article 32 to protect your right to life and personal liberty or you may give an application to the concerned police station where you resides.
Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.
Thank You!
