I received a case in MV ACT 177 ( as the ticket says ) fornot wearing seat belt and have to go to LD Court for further action. The police personel also seized my papers. Sir in respect of West Bengal what will be the complete procedure to complete the needfull . Kindly Let me know, as i never happened to be involved in such cases earlier I am quite tensed.

A.Dear Sir,
It is a petty case you may approach any Advocate practicing on criminal side and get it closed.

A.Dear Sir,
You need to appear in the court with all the relevant papers of the car and your driver license and pay the penalty that will be decided by the court. Once you pay the penalty then you will get back your papers.
You don't need a lawyer to do so as you can represent yourself but in case you feel a need of lawyer then you can take one.

A.Dear Client,

As per the facts which have been provided, take copy of the challan and receipt issued by police with all documents of vehicle to the Magistrate court of jurisdiction.
