CCTV surveillance on the portion of the building where we are rented

We are in a title suit with our landlord.
Today, we found that the landlord had installed 3 CCTV cameras (wifi-based) in our building without our consent.
Out of which, one camera is pointed directly to our main door. This means that whenever we open the door, the camera will be capturing the events inside our house.
Can this be a case of invasion of privacy?
Another camera covers the whole of the case which we use to go out and come in. In this building, we are the only tenants. So, only our movements will be monitored apart from the visitors to our house. Apart from that when ever the female members will be involved in cleaning the staircase, they will be monitored.
These cameras can be linked to 6 devices (mobiles/PCs). We are unaware who/what type of people are monitoring us and why.
Can we raise an objection on this in the court of law?
Yes, it is nothing but invasion of your privacy as such you may approach Cyber Police or get issue a legal notice to get remove the said CCTV’s otherwise approach Civil Court by filing a suit for mandatory injunction to remove the same.
When it comes to surveillance within an apartment, Fine says the bottom line is that it's illegal to have video surveillance in any private spaces. If there is a video camera in a private space, then tenants have the right to take it down themselves, or tell the landlord to take it down.
Absolutely yes! You can and should raise objections against this as this is breach of your privacy. Move the court against the landlord and also let the court know that there is title suit going on and hence he has done this to harass you.
