A.Dear Sir,
In all cases the surname will be of that of father and not of mother as per Hindu Mythology.

A.The caste and surname of the new born child will be based on the caste and surname of the father of that new born child only. According to Hindu law, once the marriage is completed, the wife converts her religion, caste, etc to that of her husband only. Hence the new born child will also bear the caste and surname of the father only.

A.Dear Client,

As per the facts mentioned, a child can claim mother’s caste in inter-caste marriages.
You may contact an advocate and find out about the prevailing law in your state regarding the matter.
