Credit card advance annual charge Credit card advance annual charge

I have a sbi credit card since three years, they charge advance annual charge 2999/- + gst every year (this is fee charged advance for whole year in begining of the year itself), this year in dec 2021 statement when i saw this amount i paid all previous due except this advance annual charge 2999/- + gst and raised a issue within 4 days of generating statement to cancel this card as i was not intreasted to pay advance annual charge of 2999/-, but sbi rejected the request and told to clear this amount to close card, so after that i never made any transaction, purchase or payment on this card since then card is active they are charging late fee, interest and other kind of charges on this card, what should i do, should i file consumer case on sbi? or something else?

A.Dear Client
You need to have a look to the agreement and the credit card application form where all the terms and conditions were given. If you have agreed for the same then you have to abide by it. If not then you can initiate a case in consumer forum against them

A.Dear Sir,

You may go to banking ombudsman at first instance then approach consumer court claiming huge compensation. Then you may get some relief.
