Educational loan settlement.

Dear sir,I bought 8 lakhs education loan for Marine courses unfortunately i was rejected in medical test.due to my medical condition i am unable to join merchant navy and i unable to repay loan amount due to poor financial condition. Earlier i have paid 4 lakhs interest but current P+I is about to 19lakhs Now the bank ask me pay 9 lakhs for OTS. But i couldn't pay that much amount.I can go to the lok adalat to save our home from the acquisition of the bank.

A.Why don't you join somewhere else which is suitable for your qualification and expectation. After all bank money is public money and they have right to recover the same.. Go for OTS and settle the matter.

It is better to go for Lok Adalth option or file a writ petition before the Court to give more and more concession in repayment of educational loan as you could not pursue the course due to COVID situation which is universal phenomenon.
