A.Dear Client
Your friend can first of all lodge a complaint to the local police about the abuse also intimate the National Commission for Women (NCW) all about it. Later she can file a case for divorce in Indian local court and get rid of the man.

A.Dear Client,

Your friend can file for divorce and custody of the child. She may also file a complaint against her husband for physical and mental abuse.
She can ask for maintenance for herself and the child as well.
