Working in an Autonomous Institute Working in an Autonomous Institute

I am working in an Autonomous Institute (GOI) with five working days (M-F). If I was called for work on regular basis on saturday/ sunday can I get compensatory leave in lieu of Saturday or sunday, or the compensatory leave will be granted against working on SUNDAY only.
Can administration threat the employee in this connection to issue minor or major penalties without issuing any showcase notice?

A.Dear Client,
in most of the cases, compensatory leave are hard to avail in government offices. do not get into any issue with the administration. if you are totally not okay with this, then approach the court. first try having a conversation with the administration regarding this issue.

A.Dear Sir,
Making issues with employer may create many problems if you are not comfortable you may get deputed to some other Government Organization, this is the first option. Second option is you may approach the concerned Tribunal and High Court after collecting relevant circulars or other similar data being adopted by other similar autonomous institutions.
