Embarrassment due to university's wrong information

Can I sue my University for giving out the wrong merit list 2 times and because I'm afraid even the 3rd merit list is also wrong (and if that's so I'll be kicked out cause now I'm in 10th position).. I'm already embarrassed cause I told I family and relatives about merit list when it first came out and I can't take it if they take me out of the list

Ideally, every university's rules would provide a grievance mechanism in which case you would be required to raise your grievance through the mechanism provided..
Having said that and assuming the university is a government university, filing of a writ before the relevant High Court can also be explored as a faster and more effective mechanism provided you are able to satisfy the parameters for invoking the writ remedy.
