Agreement Issue - trying to sell a land

We were trying to sell a land so a buyer came and gave us the token money and made a agreement but the date was not mentioned for the final registry, it’s been more than 8 months now and now we don’t want to sell it. We are offering him the token money but he is not accepting it. So how can we get rid in this situation. The mistake was that in agreement date was not mentioned for registry. Please advice
A.Dear client, I am sorry to hear that but in my humble opinion, the contract is binding in nature.
