I had applied for a bike loan and it was sanctioned, but i never received the bike. I kept informing the bank about the same but no action was taken. Now they put it on my cibil report.

A.Dear Client,
It's unfortunate that you are facing this situation. In cases like this, it's crucial to take proactive steps to address the issue. Firstly, gather all communication records with the bank regarding the loan and your attempts to inform them about not receiving the bike. Then, reach out to the bank once again, preferably in writing, explaining the situation and providing evidence of your attempts to resolve the matter. Request them to rectify the error on your CIBIL report, emphasizing that you never took possession of the bike. If the issue persists, consider seeking guidance from a financial or legal advisor to explore your options and ensure that your credit report accurately reflects the situation. Keep documentation of all interactions for future reference if needed.
Thankyou

A.Dear Client
If the bike loan was sanctioned and the money was disbursed then where did the money go? Have you used that money for some other purpose. If not then you can ask the bank to correct the CIBIL by sending a legal notice to them.

The money was paid to the Dealer and the Dealer went missing as the Loan was sanctioned. I had informed the Bank that the Bike was not received. They didn't respond, replying that they will get back to me. This was over 10 years back. Then around 7-8 years back collection agencies started calling. Everytime a new agency was allocated, I would explain everything and some stopped calling and if any one persisted, I would tell them that I will get the police involved. Then suddenly it stopped and now it is reflecting in my cibil report.

A.Dear client,
I'm sure you will have all the DDs or bank transaction details that has been sanctioned by the bank. Please write a letter to the bank authorities and check the same with the bike showroom.
