Lift use in housing society
A housing society in Mumbai has a hospital also. Is there any law which does not allow the hospital to use the lift in the housing society
A.Dear client,
There is no such law or rule that says that hospitals (or any office for that matter) can't use the same lifts used by the residents of the building.
Lifts in organized housing communities are no longer a luxury, as they formerly were and maybe the same is being followed in your society. The costs of preservation of lifts are high. So you are definitely eligible to use it if you are paying maintenance to society.

A.Dear Client
If there is lift in building (supposedly the common and only one) then you cannot make any rules not to allow other persons to use the lift for going to upper stairs. There is not particular law as such about it but the apartment association can make rules on use of common spaces and facilities.
