Can I request SC to pass an order to reopen my withdrawn DV case?
I an my husband got married thru a matrimonial site in 2010. 3 months after marriage he abandoned me. I was 1 month pregnant then. In 2014, during a divorce transfer petition case (from mumbai to delhi) in Supreme Court, I and my husband agreed for a mediation session. In that session, we agreed to sort our differences. We also agreed that he will withdraw his divorce case from mumbai and I will withdraw my DV case from Delhi. However, once I withdrew my DV case, my husband once again blocked all means of communication with me and abandoned me and our son. Can i now file a 420 case or a contempt case in the Supreme Court and request SC to pass an order to reopen my DV case in lower court?
A.Dear Madam
You can file contempt case and also new Domestic violence case. You can file other cases like maintenance etc. It is too expensive if you go to Supreme Court

A.Dear Client!
When did you withdraw your DV Case?
When your husband abondened you and your child?
You can approach for contempt proceesings against your husband before the Supreme Court or even ask for re-opening of DV Case at Delhi. You need to show that your Husband has breached the terms and conditions of the consent terms signed by both of you.
Hope this resolves your query.
