Filed a case against my spouse who's in US. Filed a case against my spouse who's in US.

I have recently filed 498A, 420, DV case against my spouse who lives in US before that he sent me the divorce notice by representing his father and I need to appeal in court in 2 days, I just want to know without my spouse can another person represent in his place? And FIR is filed against him he need to come to India but he is not responding to this. What are the chances to bring him back to India? Please let me know.

you can file a divorce petition in the court and his representatives will present him.

A.Hi client,
Yes, his representative can represent him in the court. If he is not coming or not even taking the required steps you can pray for a n exparte order.

A.Dear Madam,
You have rightly filed such cases against your spouse. Normally, on first hearing of Divorce case your husband ought to have presented the Divorce petition by himself and not prove his Power of Attorney that is his father. You may fight and get it dismissed. You require the help of Ministry of External Affairs people to get back your husband from Abroad.
