after of car RC not transferred

i have taken a car loan, due lock down i was unable to pay back, but i have requested for more time but they threatened me and my family members so i hand over the car, they auctioned my car immediately at lesser value but they have not transferred the RC, now a challan has been raised and a lok adalat notice is send to me. what to do please suggest?
A.Dear Client,
You can transfer the RC on the person's name by submitting an application regarding the transfer of your RC to that person in concerned board. You can say the same in court that you're not having the possession of the car now so you are not responsible for challan.
