Bajaj finance personal loan settlement

Hey, this is about a flexi personal loan for auto vehicle. Loan principle amount was 67k and we have paid more than 95k so far. For settlement of loan, we were contacted from district bajaj branch, their collection team and their head made fake settlement commitment and assured on settlement reduction of main principal amount of 47k to 15-20k. They asked to pay one emi and wait so they can raise approval request of settlement. But now we have been contacted by pune branch head, and they are saying there is no request and asking to pay all amount for settlement, saying that policy has been changed. Now threatening of legal actions.
So what should I do now to resolve it and what consequences can be in this. If we don't pay any amount further as we are unable to pay due to lack of income.
Loan was taken for auto and loan owner is auto driver.
While taking loan you have signed some agreement regarding the terms and conditions of the loan. So you have to act accordingly to terms and conditions and if changes had happened in policy of bank and your agreement is not regarding that then you don't have to agree with that.
