I am based in Kalyan.we had a joint flat and am also the nominee.my uncle left a will giving all his property in my name.it is on plain paper with 2 witnesses who also are from our society.suddenly i get a notice from an advocate that a lady claiming to be her daughter is there and please vacate the flat.i have been living with my uncle since 30 years and I haven't seen any of class one heir in my life,but I came to know that uncle was married when he was a child in village and he had a daughter from relatives and my grandfather had given all our ancestral property to uncle's wife which we don't know about.past 30 years no one showed up and after his death,I got this letter.kindly advise

A.Dear Sir,
You may contest the said case and enjoy the property being staying their. That lady may not win the case but you should not neglect and part with your physical possession of that house.

A.Dear Client,
As it is joint flat owned by both of you i.e., your uncle and you then you can do the settlement with her as all the ancestors property is under her name. You can also say that your uncle doesn't have mentioned about this to you ever so she can't claim for it.
