PoSH Act
I filed complaint against my immediate officer forcing me overstay during a tour program without any official need, to internal complaint committee. Only to look into the matter. I didn't ask for any action even.
But I was unduly given warning.
What action should I further take
A.You may want to consider taking the following steps:
Contact the internal complaint committee and ask for an explanation of the warning. Ask for a copy of the warning and a clear explanation of the grounds on which it was issued.
If you believe that the warning was issued in retaliation for your complaint, you may want to consider filing a formal complaint of retaliation with the internal complaint committee or with the appropriate government agency.
Consult with a lawyer who is knowledgeable in employment law to get specific advice on your legal rights and options.
Document any further incidents of retaliation, such as being denied a promotion or being assigned to less desirable tasks, as these may be additional grounds for legal action.
Thank you
