Is there a court ruling which prevents a building association from charging monthly maintenance charges/sft

A.Dear Client

I have not come across any ruling where the court prevented a building association from charging monthly maintenances charges.

As per RERA Guidelines, The building association have full right to collect monthly maintenance for the services they are providing to their tenants. Court generally interferes in those cases where the maintenance collected is exceeding the maximum limit of maintenance which is being set by the State Governments or the amount have not calculated precisely or exorbitant maintenance is being charged.
