In 2021, i brought flat in society, society taken 56 k as previous due on flat,i paid by cheque,after checking ledger of society at that time there was no any due on my flat,i.request society please return my excess amount, amount is credited in society account 2 year back, society not ready to pay my excess amount, what should I do

A.Dear Client

To recover the excess amount paid to the society, you can send a written notice and follow up with them. If they still refuse to return the amount, you can file a complaint with the registrar of co-operative societies or you can file a consumer complaint. Please seek an expert legal advice over this matter.
