How to get money back from upgrad How to get money back from upgrad

Hi, can you plz tell me what are my options to get money back as well as chances of getting money back?

Paid big money to Upgrad online education platform, and am about to lose it all for nothing in return. Timeliness summary as follows

29 Nov 2020 - 4.7 lakh paid to education platform.
30 Nov 2020 - course started
5 Dec 2020 - 1st lesson started
2 Feb 2021 - I asked for deferral
6 Apr 2022 - I asked again, and was given deferral of 8 months
6 Apr 2023 - I asked to start

I was told that I can't start and my money is gone. Since I joined back in 2020, they have adjusted their polices many times, and this is as per their policies.

What are my options in this case to get back my money, and what are the honest chances of getting my money back?

A.Dear Client

You can try negotiating with Upgrad for a refund or deferral. If that doesn't work, file a complaint with the Consumer Forum or Consumer Court. Your chances of getting a refund depend on the specific circumstances, evidence, and the company's policies. Act promptly and document all communication and transactions. Please seek an expert legal advice over this matter.
