I have been prosecuted and acquitted. Because of this can't i get government job? As in the offer of appointment employer asked que. " Certificate affirming that you have not been prosecuted.". Please guide.

Normally in case of acquittal there cannot be any stigma as such you can get the employment. Try for another employment. Acquittal means you have never been prosecuted.

When the person gets an order of acquittal, it means, the allegation made against him is him has not been proved. So he is not an accused as the charges against him is not proved. Therefore, that order will not have any bearing on the government job.
