Namaskara I'm Ranjith I was working in an education institution as a teaching staff. Since I wanted to prepare for competitive examination full time, I submitted resignation to my employer on 24 march 2023. He denied to accept and asked me to serve for 6 more months (the notice period as per HR policy 1 month) but I stood on my decision and I submitted the letter of resignation and came back. Then on the other day when I met hum to discuss the same he started threatening me that I'll spoil your career by using all my contact and references then also I strongly stood on my decisions and came back. Next day the academic director called me officially to discuss the same. There also I strongly stood on my decision. After all this, principal started allegating on me for wrong reasons. Due to this mental disturbances, I submitted my resignation once again through mail and stopped reporting to work. Then the employer without replying to my mail or without asking me to serve notice, had humiliated me and fabricated my character in front of all the staff members and removed me from all the official groups, deactivated my official mail id and intimated students in the official group that I have left the college. Now after 15 days they have sent a HR notice and stating unauthorized absence and demanding to pay salary in lieu of notice. What legal protection I have ? Kindly help. Note: no where I have states that I'll not serve notice period.
