regarding fee refund

my sister paid 16000 at a coaching institute but within 4,5 days she got her visa then she asked to refund fee but the coaching institute refused , then they told to write application and give a time period of 3 months and keep lying after 45 days they told us that they cannot refund fees. what can be done on this matter.

Let an advocate review the clauses of the refund policy, if they are violating the same, you can lodge an FIR and then a Consumer Case against them.

A.For a valid reason you were unable to avail the sevice of the service provider(Coaching Institute) who cannot deny refund of coaching fees without providing any service to the student.
