My father was an engineer at Cochin Shipyard Ltd.He passed away on 17th February 2012.His job was agreemented to my brother who was studying in class 12 has now completed his graduation but is not interested to go.As a daughter can I go instead?
You may file a representation before the concerned authority along with NOC from your brother and other members of the family and if you are representation is not considered positively within 15 days then approach High Court through Service Advocate.

You had not written correctly in the beginning.
Best thing for you would be to go to the Office of the Cochin Shipyard and meet the Administrative Officer/Personnel Officer.He/She will tell you the procedure established by law.No amount of advice will help .The other point which I would like to tell you to improve your English or your mother tongue so that you can communicate effectively.

After a government employees death naturally a case of death compensation arises.When my father passed away my brother was just in 12th standard.My brother is elder to me.During that time when it was asked who is going to join for the job my brother's name was recommended and agreemented because after the death of a particular person naturally 'who is next' question will arise that's why my mother wrote and gave his name(Please Note:He was just a school student at that time). But now he got graduated and is not interested and willing to join for the job.(Please note:He didn't join for the job).Till date that death compensation job is not accepted by any of our family members in practical.Can I join instead of my brother with his full support?

In practical his name was just suggested during the time of my father's death and till date my brother didn't recontact them or asked for a job after his graduation

If I have understood you correctly, then your brother got a job in Cochin Shipyard Ltd on compassionate ground after the death of your Father.Am I right?Now your brother wants to leave the job.It is fine. But, the job of your brother can not be given to you as your brother is living and it is not coming under that category.More important is that your family once have got the benefit under that scheme/ground.
Still you can check up with the Authorities.
Job in the shipyard is not hereditary and confined to some families.

My brother didn't go for the job only.It was just agreemented like that after my father's death and my brother is not at all interested to go,don't like the job and haven't join for the job yet .In that case with my brother's full permission and support can I join instead? That is my question
