Wrong Khata number entered in Sale Deed
We sold our property in 2008 and the purchaser himself made the Sale Deed for his urgency and registration was also completed. Now ,after 10 yrs the purchaser is saying that khata number entered is wrong in sale deed ,i.e instead of 3/1 it was entered as 3/14 .He is calling us to make the corrections. Now my question is
Whether I am liable to make the correction after 10yrs of old sale deed
Whether the purchaser can file a legal action against me
Please guide

A.Dear Client,
Better to engage a local Advocate to see the legality of it.
Secondly, the correction work can be done through an Affidavit.
The purchaser can not file legal action against you.
In case of problem get in touch.
