Maternity salary Maternity salary

I work with a Private school as a confirmed teacher. I was on maternity leave from Jan to March . My salary was put on hold and it was apprised to me that it will be given on joining back. After joining back , I realised that I can't continue due to ill health and small baby. So , I resigned and serving notice period of 3 months from April to July ( As per policy). Now , administration is saying that I won't get my Maternity salary ( Jan to March ) and from April to June ( June has summer break so it won't be considered in notice period and no salary will be given) . Notice period will be counted as 2 months and I ll have to pay one month salary..

So,, basically according to them I should get only one salary from Jan to June.

  Kindly help !

A.Maternity leave permitted or sanctioned following statutory provision of relevant law so salary or dues cannot be withheld in any circumstances.
As regards your resignation serving 3 months notice, you are not entitled for the same as you render no service during the notice period.
You may reach out to Inspector school of the district for redressal of grievance

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach higher officers in the educational department and try to solve your problem because the concept of private schools is to hire and fire.
