A.Good afternoon!
The procedure depends on whether you are from the CBSE board or any other State board. the common procedure includes:
1. Preparing the necessary documents - The documents required varies from the reason you are changing your name. If it is due to marriage then you have to provide a copy of your marriage certificate. If you are changing your name because or through a court order, you should provide a copy of the court order. If you are changing your name due to any other reason, you have to provide an affidavit stating the reason for the name change, along with supporting documents such as a newspaper advertisement or gazette notification.
2. Contact your school - They would explain the further actions to be taken. Submit the required documents already prepared. You might have to pay a small fee towards the same. The updated marksheet can again be collected from the school.
