Seniority issue

Sir I am joining as CG employee(direct recruitment) in 18 may 2017 and same year 2017 some persons promoted in same grade on 1 apr 2017. In such cases who is the senior direct recruitment or promotion persons. And what is inter se seniority.

Senerioty in service life is an essential component of the Promotion Policy apart from others that qualify one for promotion to a higher grade. As stated by you who were promoted before you must have joined the service before you or their promotion was due before you. In principle, Seniority counts from the date joining in the permanent roll of the organization and most importantly, promotion cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
