My title is Podder .I am from West Bengal. I had recently made a first generation SC certificate for me .My previous generation and none of my relatives donot have any SC certificate. The agent through whom I made it ,he told that Podder title falls under SC so we did it .Now after we got the certificate, we went to the administration office ,barrackpore for centralised certificate ,they told the certificate to be doubtful and told to bring previous generation certificate.But i donot have one .Has the agent who arranged the certificate cheated me ?? Is the certificate fraud ??? How do I know this?? The certificate is showing in the government website also . Then why they declared the certificate to be doubtful ?

It seems the administrative office people are corrupt people and wanted to blackmail you. It is not necessary for you to bring any other previous generation certificate. You may go to High Court if they reject to issue your caste certificate.
