Hello. I am married and have many issues related to my marriage life. My husband always drunk at night and try to abuse me. He has take and kept in the bank all my gold ornaments which my father gifted me. He had taken 4 lakh of cash from my parents that he will give it monthly bt always refuses. My mother in law always talk to me roughly and some my husband slap me.

A.Hello,
As per the information you have provided , The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005: Under this law, women can seek protection against domestic violence, financial compensation, the right to live in their shared household, and they can get maintenance from their abuser in case they are living apart.

A.Dear Madam,
You may immediately lodge complaint with Police to recover your gold ornaments by seizing the same from the Bank locker. Further, you may lodge complaint under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act against your husband and his family members.
