A.Hello,
If a coaching institute in refuses to refund money, you may consider taking legal action against them. Here are some relevant laws and legal options that you can explore:

Consumer Protection Act, 2019: This law provides protection to consumers and allows them to file complaints against unfair trade practices, deficiency in services, and unfair contracts. You can approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District, State, or National) based on the value of the claim to seek a refund.

Terms and conditions: Review the terms and conditions or the agreement you signed with the coaching institute. Check for any clauses related to refunds, cancellations, or dispute resolution mechanisms. This will help determine the legal basis for your claim.

Legal notice: Send a legal notice to the coaching institute demanding a refund. The notice should state the facts of the case, the amount of refund due, and a reasonable deadline for compliance. It is advisable to seek the assistance of a lawyer to draft and send the legal notice.

Mediation or negotiation: If the coaching institute is willing, you can attempt to resolve the issue through mediation or negotiation. This may involve discussing the matter with the institute's management or involving a neutral third party to facilitate a resolution.

Remember, it is essential to consult with a qualified lawyer who specializes in consumer protection or civil law to understand the specific legal options available to you based on your situation. They can provide personalized advice and guide you through the legal process.
