Unable to clear debt Unable to clear debt

Years ago, after demonetisation, a person lent demonetised notes for my urgent requirement. There is no paper work for this. Now the amount has come up to 20+ lakhs. And I am not able to pay this. The person is threatening me. Need help on how to handle this issue.

A.500 and Rs. 1000 notes in hand will have to have them exchanged or deposited. There are two places where these notes can be exchanged or deposited – banks and post offices. For banks, all national and private banks in India have been instructed to have the notes exchanged or deposited

In addition, try and come up with proof of this being a legal exchange, since if not it will be considered to be black money

A.Dear Sir,
You must have thick skin to face such person. Ask him to approach any Court or any Police Station. Please take care not to issue any postdated cheques or promissory notes etc.
