i abscond my first company due to pay was very less and it was the night shift and joined another company. The joining date of my New company was 24-Dec-2018 but the letter I received from my first company mentioned the date to discharge me from my duties is 21-Jan -2019. Here is a date clash... and I am requesting the 1st employer to please rectify the date ... can I get helpful advice

A.Dear Client,

When an employee abandoned his job of a Company without notice or permission, that is treated as misconduct on the part of the employee and if such misconduct is proved in the domestic inquiry conducted following the standing rules or the provision of model standing orders, it takes time to pass an order of discharge against the employee. In your case, it appears that you were discharged from service for proven misconduct by your earlier company w,e,f, 21-Jan -2019. You may of course request your earlier company for rectification of the date of discharge but not on the ground of the joining date of your New Company because you joined a new company on 24-Dec-2018 in the absence of relieving letter issued from your earlier company.

A.Dear client,
As you absconded we are presuming that you would not have sent a resignation letter. In such cases, the date cannot be changed
