A.Dear Client,
1.First question... Transfer of Judges is a routine matter. You need not bother for that. You bother for your case.
2.Second question.Since you are doing a case, you presumably know the frequency when you were getting the date.
If you do not get the date then ask your Advocate give a Memo ask for a quick date.
The Judge has not taken your papers with him/her.
Everything is available in the Court.

A.Sir, As per your query.

It is presumed by me that you had a case filed in say court "X" and the judge there has transferred and in his/her place a new judge is appointed.
As to your first question, the new judge will take up your case according to the date of your case [if this is a lower court matter] then please do check the next date of your case.
If it is a High Court matter then there might be a slight delay but the case will be taken up if it is in the monthly or daily lis, it will be taken accordingly.

In response to your second question. You don't have to give any transfer application as the judge has changed but your case is still pending in that court. So the new judge will take over your case and move forward with it. However, he may move forward from the stage where your case was before such transfer or he would want to know the case better and then move forward. In the second case your case might linger a bit. However in the first circumstance as I mentioned as soon as the new judge takes over and your date comes the case will start running smoothly.

Hope this helped .
