Dear Sir,
I have taken Loan from Cashe ( Mobile Based Loan lender) of Rs.30000/- by 12/05/2017. While disbursing the loan itself they have taken Rs.2750/- as upfront interest for a period of three months as monthly EMI 10000/- for each month. Due to some personal issues i was not paid the loan on time. Finally got approval for making payment of principal amount of Rs.30000/- on 15th November 2017 & made payment on same day. I got confirmation from the Lender for Rs.30000/- through mail . Now they are harrasing me to pay another Rs.14500/- as interest & sent legal notice . Kindly requesting you to do needful to take futher action on them. Is there any option to file defamation case & claim the amount & also can i file a cheating case on them for false promise . Thanks

Regards,
Harisha

A.Hi,
If they have sent you a legal notice for payment of extra interest then they must have done this as per the law and the agreement that you would have signed with them. You should respond to the legal notice by replying it. Do you have the loan agreement copy then please share with a lawyer and seek his opinion if they have done anything wrong.
