Mother in law scolds me regularly on daily chores.. sometimes its unbearable.....thus makes me to think too much negative

I am always scared of her.....she shouts too loud that I m unable to express my views honestly...I m so scared of her that I becomes her ' yes man' even though I hate being that. Pls guide me.
