A.Dear Client,
If your application for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate in Kerala has been rejected and you believe it was unjustly rejected, you can take the following steps:

Recheck the Information Provided: Double-check the information you provided in your application for any errors or discrepancies. Ensure that you have accurately reported your family's annual income and other relevant details. If you find any errors, consider reapplying with the correct information.

Contact the Issuing Authority: Reach out to the issuing authority responsible for providing EWS certificates in Kerala. Inquire about the reasons for the rejection of your application. Seek clarification on any doubts you may have and ask if there's any recourse available to address the issue.

File an Appeal: Some states have provisions for filing an appeal if your EWS certificate application is rejected. In Kerala, you may have the option to appeal the decision within a specific period after the rejection. Check with the issuing authority to know the appeal procedure and the required documentation.
Thank You.

A.Dear Client,
To make yourself eligible for the EWS certificate, you will have to satisfy all the following conditions : > You should be a ‘general’ candidate (not covered under reservation for SC, ST or OBC). > Your family’s gross annual income should be below Rs. 8 lakhs. This includes income from all sources such as salary, business, etc. for the financial year before you apply for the exam. > Your family should not own agricultural land of size 5 acres or more. > Your family should not own a residential flat of area 1000 square feet or more. > Your family should not own a residential plot (in notified municipalities) of an area of 100 square yards or more. > Your family should not own a residential plot (other than in notified municipalities) of an area of 200 square yards or more. Based on your insufficient information, I just apprise you of the eligibility conditions for your information. In case you meet the conditions of eligibility then you need to make an application/complaint for the issue of an EWS Certificate to the concerned Authorities like SDM/DM/Tehashilder along with all the documents/papers required for the purpose.
