Leaving PG within 12 days

I joined on 1st of Aug. Gave them Advance security money, registration fees, monthly rent. But due to some urgent needs I have to shift back to my hometown. It's like it's just 13 day's I have been there. Is there any chance of getting my atleast the advance security money back? Is there any law about it in India.

There is no law specifically prescribed for PG centers. However you may get issue a legal notice threaten to lodge police complaint or file a money recovery suit in your hometown thus the matter may be resolved.

Please look into your agreement entered into with your PG owner. If there is a term that allows you to claim advance, you have the right to ask for it. However, if there is no such term, you have no legal protection
