Notice Period during Probation Notice Period during Probation

My employment contract states that I am on probation for the first 6 months and post that, my employment with the organisation will be confirmed to me in writing.
In the next clause it says if I want to discontinue my employment, I need to give a 90 day notice.
Since my employment contract clearly differentiates probation and notice period, do I need to give any notice to company while leaving when I am still in the probation stage (first 2 months in the company)

A.Dear Client,
An appointment on probation is an appointment on a trial basis. If the employee feels that the role is not for him, or he was offered alternate employment, it is perfectly acceptable to quit during the probation period. When a condition is stipulated in your contract of employment specifying that you have to serve 90 days notice period, in case you tender resignation, you need to serve your notice period if you want to leave your company during the probation period.
