A.Dear Client,
In the absence of an offer letter or contract of employment, it is difficult to establish your relationship with the employer and claim a relieving letter on cessation of employment for any reason. However, apart from the offer letter, if you got any salary slip, EPF contribution statement, ESI ID Card or any other documents that prove your relationship with the employer, you can ask your employer to issue a relieving letter. If the previous owner denies your claim and brought an allegation of manipulation in writing against you, then reach out to the office of the concerned Chief Inspector of Shops and Establishment to file a complaint against the previous employer over alleged victimization and unfair trade practice for redressal of your grievance.

A.Dear client,
Serve a legal notice to the employer demanding that he issue your relieving letter immediately, failing which you are at liberty to issue appropriate legal action. Sending the legal notice should resolve the issue.
