Bank account freeze by cyber sell in chain scam crypto P2P trading Bank account freeze by cyber sell in chain scam crypto P2P trading

My bank account was frozen in a chain scam while selling crypto in P2P. I have collected all the information, and there is no mistake from my end. I have sent the full trade invoice, bank statement, and all required proofs to their given email ID. However, they are insisting that I go to the cyber cell, even though I haven't made any mistakes. It's not feasible for me to travel 900km to that location. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this? Can I pursue legal action through the consumer court or by other means from my current location?

A.Dear Client,
When an account is frozen by the Bank on the instruction of Cyber Crime Cell on receipt of a complaint of a fraudulent transaction, the account holder cannot access the funds in the account, and cannot make any transactions. The account shall remain inoperative/frozen until the cybercrime incident is investigated and resolved acquitting the account holder from the charge or scam. To unfreeze or to make your account operative, you need to contact your bank as well as Cyber Cell. They will be able to tell you more about the cybercrime incident and what you need to do to resolve the matter. When it is feasible for you to chase the matter from a long distance, you can hire a legal professional or solicitor firm that renders pan India service to the client to pursue the matter on your behalf and get the matter resolved.

A.Dear Client,
Here are some steps you could consider taking:

Communication: Continue to communicate with your bank through written correspondence, emails, and any other available channels. Keep records of all your communications. Explain your situation clearly and provide all necessary documentation to support your claim.

Consumer Court: You might consider approaching a consumer court if your bank is not cooperating and you believe you have a valid case. Consumer courts in India handle disputes related to goods and services, and this could be an avenue to seek resolution. Be aware that the process might take time.

Banking Ombudsman: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has a Banking Ombudsman scheme that deals with complaints against banks. You can file a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman if you feel that your bank is not addressing your grievance properly.

Alternate Dispute Resolution: Some banks have provisions for alternate dispute resolution mechanisms. Check with your bank if they have an ombudsman or arbitration process that can be used to resolve disputes without going to court.

Legal Notice: you need to send a legal notice to the bank, outlining your grievance and seeking a resolution. This can sometimes prompt a more serious response from the bank.

Local Legal Resources: If you're unable to travel to the location where the cyber cell is located, you might consider seeking legal assistance from professionals in your current location. They can guide you on the best course of action and potentially represent you in negotiations.

Documentation: Keep meticulous records of all correspondence, emails, documents sent, and received. These records will be crucial if you decide to pursue legal action.
Thanks
