my mother in law given a plot to her daughter and my wife though gift deed blood relation. I was given itimation to my dept. within one month. my dept is asking income of source of my mother in law. is deptt ask from 3rd party income of source. any written

A.It is better for your Mother in-Law to reveal it to the concerned authorities.

A.Department cannot ask about it but u should speak about it to Ur mother in law just clarify it

A.You have earned property, Reason ,Just inform dept how MIL get this, either by transfer from husband or self earned

A.Dear Sir,
Third party income cannot be asked. But since it is your mother in law so they think you have purchased from your sources in the name of your mother in law as Benami and now getting back as gift to your wife. Just ask your mother in law to clarify as to how she acquired the same.
