Marriage Registration Marriage Registration

Hi Sir/Madam,
Is local address proof mandatory for registration of marriage? Me and my would be spouse live and work in Kolkata currently but both of us do not have local address proof of Kolkata. Adhar, voter ID etc are all based out of our native. I do have rent agreement and can procure a letter from my company's HR, but will that be sufficient to get my marriage registered in Kolkata?
