A.Dear Client,
While I sympathize with the plights you are facing in your sunset years concerning the nuisance and atrocities of your neighbor youngster Hooligans that scared and upset you now. Despite your complaint to the police, the matter is not resolved yet. In such a situation, you may contact the Elder Help Line (No.14567) launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment exclusively for the protection of the interest of Sr. Citizens of the Country from any kind of crisis from health to wealth. You may take a chance by contacting them through the helpline number to resolve the matter. Further, you may escalate your grievance before the Public Grievance Cell, of the Dist. Magistrate/SDM office concerned for redressal of your grievance against the nuisance of neighbors. Apart from this, you can file a criminal suit against the concerned neighbors under Sec.268 IPC for public nuisance and Sec.503 for criminal intimidation claiming damages to property and order for restraining the harasser from further harassment. You can also appeal before the Court for police protection considering the apprehension of further nuisance or atrocities. Although it is a very difficult task at this age to pursue relief through litigation and face the consequences, you need to consult with an Advocate for proper guidance and steps.

A.Dear Client,

I understand that you and your wife are facing unpleasant situations involving your neighbors, including car parking issues, profanity, and damage to your vehicle. It can be distressing and frustrating to endure such behavior, especially when you have already filed a police complaint and no action has been taken.

To address the situation and seek resolution, you have a few possible options:

1. Follow up with the police: If the police have not taken any action regarding your complaint, it is important to follow up with them and inquire about the progress of the investigation. Maintain a record of all interactions with the police, including the complaint reference number, dates of follow-ups, and any information provided by the authorities.

2. Mediation or reconciliation: If the situation is not resolved through police intervention, you may explore alternative methods of dispute resolution. Mediation or reconciliation processes involve a neutral third party who facilitates communication and helps parties find a mutually acceptable solution. You can consult with a lawyer or a local mediation center to explore this option. Please note that this will require the cooperation of the other party involved.

3. Legal action: If the harassment and damages persist despite your efforts, you may consider taking legal action to protect your rights. This could involve filing a civil suit for compensation for damages, requesting a restraining order against the harassers, or seeking any other appropriate legal remedy. Consult with a lawyer who specializes in civil litigation to evaluate the specific circumstances and guide you through the legal process.

Remember to document any incidents, gather evidence (such as photographs or videos), and maintain a record of any conversations or interactions related to the matter. This can strengthen your case should you decide to pursue legal action.
Thank you.
