Apartment laws for pets

Hi ,
Am residing in my Bangalore in a gated community. Am having two pets and till date none of the person have caused any harms to any residents. Association have issues us using the common areas and lifts for pets. Can I send a legal notice to association for basic civic rights for us and our pets.
A.Dear client,
As per the Animal Welfare Board of India, a housing society cannot ban pets from using common facilities like lifts and parks or impose a fine or special charge for the same
It is illegal for housing societies to pass pet bye-laws that disallow pets, not even on a majority vote by the residents of the society.
The Fundamental Duties in the Constitution of India in Section 51(A) makes it a duty of every Indian citizen to respect and have compassion for all life forms.
Bangalore Apartments’ Federation has come up with a humane set of suggestions to craft bye-laws in favor of pet ownership
If the association is not allowing the usage of common areas and lifts for pets, the pet owner can print a copy of the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) notification and share it with the RWA
Pet owners can approach the registrar of societies and file a complaint if their rights are violated
