A.Dear Client,
The validity of your EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) certificate issued digitally by a Naib Tehsildar in Gurugram, Haryana, for admission to Delhi University (DU) will depend on the specific policies and guidelines set by Delhi University for EWS certificates.

Generally, EWS certificates are issued based on the eligibility criteria and format specified by the respective state government or union territory. However, it's essential to ensure that the certificate is recognized and accepted by Delhi University for admission purposes.

To determine the validity of your EWS certificate, you should take the following steps:

Review Delhi University's Admission Guidelines: Visit the official website of Delhi University and access the admission guidelines and eligibility criteria for the specific course or program you are interested in. Look for information regarding the acceptance of EWS certificates from other states or union territories.

Contact the Admissions Office: Reach out to the admissions office or the designated authority at Delhi University responsible for admissions. Inquire about their policy regarding the acceptance of EWS certificates issued by authorities in other states or union territories.

Verify the Format: Ensure that the format and content of your EWS certificate match the requirements specified by Delhi University. If necessary, you may need to submit additional documentation or obtain clarification from the issuing authority to meet the university's requirements.

Get Confirmation in Writing: If your EWS certificate meets the criteria set by Delhi University, it's advisable to obtain written confirmation or acknowledgment from the university's admissions office. This can serve as proof of the certificate's validity during the admission process.

Keep Copies and Records: Maintain copies of your EWS certificate, correspondence with Delhi University, and any written confirmation or acknowledgment for your records.

It's important to be proactive in verifying the acceptance of your EWS certificate by Delhi University and to address any concerns or discrepancies before the admission process begins. Each university may have its own specific requirements, so it's crucial to follow their guidelines to ensure a smooth admission process.
Thank you.

EWS certificate can be issued by only one revenue officer from the state where your parents are residing. Delhi University cannot reject such certificate issued to you.

A.Dear Client,
The EWS certificate's validity is for one year. You are required to renew and update the validity of the EWS certificate within the given period as the Certificate of Income and Assets is valid for one year. However, depending on the state, the validity period can last up to six months and during its validity, it is admissible across the institutes/universities of the country.
