Sir/ma'am
I am a dentist and I got a three year contract job as a senior resident in rims medical College of jharkhand government.. while working as a senior resident I got selected for JPSC permanent government job ....I had to join within 15 days....so i could not serve a notice period of three months hence they have put a penalty of almost three months....which is complete salary but in hand salary is less which i received as a salary after paying tax.
Do I still need to pay penalty as I am serving same government in both situations.
Can my penalty be dissolved under any laws?
How can I save myself from paying penalty as my current job is not allowing me to serve notice period.

A.Dear Sir,
If you had applied through proper channel you could have avoided such penalty. Even now just walk out and join permanent government job let your ex employer go to the court for recovery.
